asked the Taoiseach how many lawyers other than Irish lawyers were employed on behalf of the Government in connection with the Lawless case, and the nationality of the lawyers so employed.

Only one non-Irish lawyer—a French citizen—was retained on the Government's behalf in the case referred to.
