asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applications for phones not yet fulfilled in North Tipperary; and when these demands will be met.

Apart from about 40 telephones in course of installation, there are some 47 applications for telephones outstanding in North Tipperary. It is hoped to clear the majority of these before the end of the year and the remainder early next year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a phone will be provided for Mr. Roger Spain, Monfin, Nenagh, who made application over nine months ago.

It is hoped to give service to the applicant in question before the end of the year.
