Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Finance the titles of all Acts of the Oireachtas which have not yet been translated into Irish.

The answer, which includes some explanatory notes, is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

18. Nurses.

20. Industrial Research and Standards.

21. Hospitals Federation and Amalgamation.

22. Social Welfare (Amendment).

23. Finance.

24. Road Traffic.

25. Air Navigation and Transport.

26. Medical Practitioners.

27. Health (Corporate Bodies).

30. Industrial Grants.

31. Shannon Free Airport Development Co. Ltd.

32. Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price).

33. Holidays (Employees).

34. Local Authorities (Educational Scholarships).

35. Curragh of Kildare.

36. Agricultural Workers (Holidays).

37. Tourist Traffic.

39. Courts of Justice (Supplemental Provisions).

For the purpose of the reply, the translation of an Act into Irish is regarded as having been completed when the final proof has been checked and returned for printing. Nos. 7, 11 and 22 above have had translations completed and are ready for proof printing. Draft translation has not yet been undertaken for Nos. 30-37 and 39-42. The remainder are at the draft translation stage.
