asked the Minister for Finance what steps are being taken to repair the sea wall at the Maharees, Castlegregory, County Kerry, particularly in view of the serious inroads created by the recent high tides which threaten to make an island of the area and to cut off eighty families from the mainland.

The introduction of legislation regarding the general question of coast protection works is at present being considered.
