Vol. 192 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Value of Trade.

3.

asked the Taoiseach the value of trade under the following headings, viz., (1) exports (2) imports and (3) export deficit, for (a) 1st January 1961 to the latest available date and (b) a similar period for each of the three preceding years with the countries of (i) E.E.C. and (ii) E.F.T.A., giving in each case figures for the countries separately and for the bloc as a whole, and segregating the Six County figures from those of Great Britain.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing, in respect of each of the periods January to September, 1958, 1959, 1960 and 1961, the particulars requested by the Deputy.

Following is the statement:—
