Vol. 192 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Commission on Itinerants.

2.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Taoiseach if he will state with reference to the Commission on Itinerants the date of its appointment, and the number and dates of its meetings; and when it is expected to issue its report.

The Commission on Itinerancy was set up on the 20th June, 1960. I understand that it has, so far, held 25 meetings.

I am not in a position to indicate when the Commission will issue its report, which, no doubt, will contain such information as to its meetings as the Commission considers necessary.

Can the Taoiseach provide any approximate date?

I would not attempt to do that.
