Vol. 192 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Storm Damage Grants to Farmers.

65.

asked the Minister for Local Government the reason why he decided to make storm damage grants available only to farmers whose valuation does not exceed £50, since many farm premises with higher valuations suffered much greater losses.

Grants for repair of private dwelling houses are made available irrespective of the total rateable valuation of the property occupied by applicants.
