It is difficult at this stage to give a definite answer to this question. While the prices of milk for manufacturing purposes appear to be higher in the present six member countries of the European Economic Community than in Ireland, it should be borne in mind that the Community's common agricultural policy has not yet been finally determined and that the position may also be affected by the admission of additional countries to membership.
