Vol. 192 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Price of Bread.

67.

andMr. McQuillan asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he has completed his investigation into the millers' demands to increase the price of bread; and, if not, if he will ensure that before such an increase is granted the matter will be referred to the Dáil for consideration.

I have not yet completed my investigation of this matter. When I have done so, I will decide what further action is appropriate.

Does that mean that the Minister intends to bring this matter before the Dáil?

It does not mean that necessarily.

Will we have access to the information made available to the Minister?

That depends on the examination of the figures I get.
