Vol. 193 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Report of World Bank Mission.

21.

asked the Minister for Finance if he has yet received the report of the World Bank Mission which visited Ireland in July 1960; and, if not, when he expects to receive it.

As I indicated in a reply to a question by the Deputy last year, preparation of the report of the World Bank mission has been delayed by the illness of one of the mission members. This factor still operates and in view of the change in circumstances which will be brought about by the evolution of the common agricultural policy of the European Economic Community, it has been agreed with the World Bank that the preparation of the report need not be proceeded with.

Will it not be proceeded with at all?

No. It is felt that it would be somewhat out of date when produced.
