Vol. 193 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Allowance to Fever Hospital Nurses.

4.

andMr. T. Lynch asked the Minister for Health if he will sanction a special allowance of £10 per annum to general trained nurses in fever hospitals, as has been paid to trained nurses in sanatoria.

The recent revision of the salary scales of general trained nurses in health authority hospitals did not interfere with the continuance of the special allowances payable to nurses in fever hospitals. Sanction has been granted to the payment of an allowance of £10 to general trained nurses in fever hospitals in any case in which the health authority concerned has applied for it.
