Vol. 193 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Postal and Telephone Facilities at Cork Airport.

36.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the inadequacy of postal and telephone arrangements at Cork airport; and, if so, when he intends to rectify the matter.

I am aware that the interim postal arrangements are inadequate as there is a delivery service only. When the part of the Airport building which is to house the letter box has been sufficiently completed a collection service will be introduced.

All telephone installations which were asked for by the Department of Transport and Power have been provided and I have no reason to think that the telephone arrangements are inadequate.
