Vol. 194 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Thomas Davis Statue.

24.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Finance whether the design of the base for the statue of Thomas Davis at College Green, Dublin, has yet been agreed upon; and when work on the erection of the statue will (a) commence and (b) be completed.

The design has not yet been finally settled and at this stage it is not possible to say when the work of erection will commence. As I stated in reply to a previous question on the subject everything possible is being done to have the scheme expedited.
