Vol. 194 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Industrial Proposals for Dublin City.

51.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if the attention of his Department has been drawn to any new industrial proposals for Dublin City; and if he will make a general statement on the matter.

I am aware of seventeen proposals for the establishment of new industrial enterprises or for the extension of existing firms in Dublin city. Of these, twelve have reached a stage at which they may be regarded as likely to come to fruition. It would not be possible, without disclosing the affairs of private business firms, to indicate the nature of the projects.
