Vol. 195 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Holycross (Tipperary) School.

55.

asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the building of a new school at Holycross, Thurles, County Tipperary.

My Department has sanctioned a grant towards the cost of erecting the proposed new school at Holycross, Thurles, Tipperary.

It is understood from the Commissioners of Public Works that they will not be in a position to commence the preparation of the detailed drawings and specification for the new school for several months. I am not in a position, therefore, to say when work on the building of the new school will commence.
