Vol. 195 No. 14

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: No. 10, Votes 30 to 38 inclusive, 39 and 40.

The Taoiseach said a fortnight ago that in this week he hoped to be in a position to inform the Dáil of what programme of legislation the Government sought to have implemented before the end of this session.

I shall do that to-morrow.

Would I be correct in interpreting the Taoiseach's remarks as meaning that if the major Opposition Party were anxious for a discussion on this dispute involving the subpostmasters, he would be prepared to give time for such a discussion to-morrow? Is that the position?

Does the Taoiseach rule out the possibility of the less spectacular but more effective method of an all-Party conference in an attempt to put order into this dispute?

I have made my statement as definite and as final as possible.

Can the Taoiseach say when the Housing Bill will be introduced?

I shall deal with that question to-morrow.

The Housing Bill?

The business of the session.
