Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Donegal River Drainage: Compensation Payments.

8.

andMr. Harte asked the Minister for Finance when farmers to whom compensation is due as a result of the drainage of the Deele and Swilly Burn, County Donegal will be paid.

There are four claims for compensation still unsettled on this drainage scheme. In one case, the claimant has elected to allow the case to be disposed of by arbitration and the hearing has been fixed for the 20th of this month. In the other three cases the reports of the technical officers are being considered and communications will be sent to the claimants' solicitors within the next two weeks.
