34.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will be prepared to make representations to Dublin Corporation to open a local office in Cabra and in Finglas for the collection of rents and the administration of the differential rent scheme.

The administration of its housing estate is a matter for Dublin Corporation. I understand that there is a number of offices for the collection of rents in the areas mentioned by the Deputy, and that the feasibility of administering the differential rent scheme from area offices is under examination.

35.

asked the Minister for Local Government the terms of the present differential rent scheme operated by Dublin Corporation.

The terms of the Dublin Corporation differential rents scheme are set out in a leaflet prepared by the Corporation. I shall arrange for a copy to be supplied to the Deputy.

36.

asked the Minister for Local Government the number of employees of Dublin Corporation employed directly or indirectly in the administration of the differential rent scheme.

The information requested by the Deputy is not available in my Department.
