Following is the information:—
The general position in the case of these fourteen roads is set out in my reply of 13 June, 1962 to Deputies N. Egan and K.P. Egan. I have received no other recent representations regarding them. The existing roads are all in a reasonably satisfactory condition for the removal of the turf cut this year. Any case where further repairs are required will be considered for a grant when next winter's programme of bog road works is being prepared. For this purpose arrangements have already been made to have them all re-inspected within the next few months.
In the case of Question No. 114, I assume the Deputy is referring to the road described in the records of the Special Employment Schemes Office as "from near the culvert south of John Devery's house west to Mrs. Kenny's turf bank, south to James Fox's bank and branch north to Patrick Caulfield's bank."
