Vol. 196 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Flooding.

41.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that a deputation of landowners from the Lohercannon and Kerries districts, Tralee, County Kerry appeared before a meeting of Kerry County Council in connection with the flooding of their lands, etc.; and that the County Council passed a resolution calling on his Department to take immediate action in this serious matter; if so, whether he has had the matter examined; and if it is proposed to have work carried out in the districts to prevent recurrence of this flooding.

Whilst the Land Commission have no liability in this matter, they are having the county council's proposals examined and a decision will be reached as soon as possible.
