Vol. 196 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Knocklong (Limerick) Estate.

59.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when the Rafferty Estate at Garryspillane, Knocklong, County Limerick will be divided; and if he will give an assurance that local applicants will receive the fullest consideration in the allocation of these lands.

This 75 acre property was taken over by the Land Commission last April. It is still too early to say when the lands will be allotted but there will be no avoidable delay. The claims of all eligible local applicants will be fully considered by the Land Commissioners before allocation takes place.
