Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Storm Damage on County Donegal Island.

12.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware that as a result of the recent storms the island of Owey, Kincasslagh, County Donegal, is in desolation, all crops having been completely destroyed; and, if so, if he will take immediate steps to relieve the islanders of their burden and assist them to make provision for the coming winter.

I have arranged for an officer of my Department to visit Owey Island to investigate the damage caused to crops by recent storms.
