asked the Minister for Finance if he will state with regard to the reconstruction of Templetuohy village national school, County Tipperary (a) the reason for the delay in sanctioning a tender and (b) when work is likely to commence; and if he is aware that the work should be completed as expeditiously as possible as temporary accommodation is available for a short time only.

Following receipt of tenders in this case, it was necessary to clear some details with the persons tendering. This has now been done, and a contract will be placed shortly. It is expected that work will be commenced immediately.
