I have no record of a formal application for the purpose stated. The annual employment schemes allocation will shortly be notified to Youghal Urban District Council and it will be for the Council in the first instance to consider whether they should apply that grant to the repair of storm damage to the Council's property, bearing in mind that works approved as employment schemes must have a high unskilled labour content and be suitable for execution during the winter months.
