Vol. 196 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Compensation Payments to Cork County Council.

25.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he can now state when a decision will be arrived at in his Department regarding compensation payable by the Cork Corporation to Cork County Council for property taken over by the Corporation over four years ago.

All the investigations in relation to Cork County Council's claim in respect of increase in burden consequent on the extension of Cork city boundary in 1955 have now been completed and a report on the matter is at present being prepared in my Department. I expect to be in a position to give a decision on the claim at an early date.
