As I stated in the course of a reply to a Question on 31st October, pay rates of members of the Garda Síochána are dealt with under the Garda Síochána Scheme of Conciliation and Arbitration. I understand that a pay claim on behalf of members of the rank of Garda is at present being prepared by the Representative Body for Gardaí. If a claim is received, it will be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the Scheme.
