357 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo has been accepted for the second REP scheme plan; if their payment will be processed immediately; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16881/02]

The application from the person named was received in my Department on 15 July 2002. The application is being processed in accordance with the payment targets set out in the protocol on direct payments to farmers.
