I presume that the question refers to seed dressings based on aldrin, dieldrin and heptachlor, the use of which on cereals has been limited by voluntary agreement between the interests concerned in Britain. Inquiries which I have made in the matter have not produced any evidence that these dressings were responsible for mortality in pheasants in this country last spring.
