Ceisteanna—Questions Oral Answers. - Dublin Georgian Houses.

26.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position regarding the appeal against the decision of the Dublin City Manager to permit the Electricity Supply Board to demolish the internationally famous examples of eighteenth-century architecture in Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin.

The information available to me in relation to this appeal did not include particulars of the design of the buildings which would be erected in place of the present offices if they were to be demolished and it was considered advisable to defer a decision on the appeal until this further information is available.
