Vol. 198 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Thomas Davis Statue.

14.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Finance whether the design of the base for the statue of Thomas Davis at College Green, Dublin has yet been agreed upon; and, if not, if he will state the reason for the delay, and when work on the erection of the statue will (a) commence and (b) be completed.

A design for the memorial was recently submitted and is at present under consideration. I am not yet in a position to indicate when work on the project is likely to commence.
