I do not propose to arrange to have the suggested category of "Iron Curtain countries" distinguished in Table XVII—Trade by Areas—of the monthly Trade Statistics of Ireland.
Why?
It is only a popular expression. It has not precise definition.
Everyone knows what the expression means, even if the Taoiseach does not.
I think what it means could be a matter for argument.

I propose with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report particulars of imports originating in and exports to the USSR and certain specified Eastern European countries in each of the twelve month periods ended 30th September, 1961, and 30th September, 1962. Data for these periods are given since September, 1962 is the latest month for which the required information is available.
