asked the Taoiseach whether his Department have available any statistical information comparing the trends in the consumption of flour in this country with those in the various member-countries of the European Economic Community and in Britain; and, if so, what has been the percentage change in the consumption of flour in Ireland and in each of those countries between 1957 and 1961.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the percentage changes in the total consumption and the consumption per head of wheaten flour in the specified countries in the period 1956/57 to 1960/61.
