17.

asked the Minister for Local Government if in view of the urgent necessity for new houses at Ferns, County Wexford, the proposals before his Department for such houses meet with his approval; and when a decision will be issued to Wexford County Council about them.

Layout and house plans for a scheme of 12 houses at Ferns were approved by me on 18th October last.

18.

asked the Minister for Local Government if there are any proposals before his Department for the erection of new houses (a) by Enniscorthy Urban Council and (b) by New Ross Urban Council.

Proposals for the acceptance of tenders for the erection of 28 houses at Bellefield, Enniscorthy, and of six houses on two sites in New Ross are at present under consideration in my Department.

19.

asked the Minister for Local Government if there are any proposals before his Department from Wexford Corporation for the erection of new houses in Wexford.

There are no such proposals, apart from the 120-house scheme at Slippery Green, Wexford, already generally approved in October.
