andMr. McQuillan asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will indicate, in regard to his statement that the Government's industrial development policy is not designed to cover everybody on the unemployment register, what percentage of those on the register the Government's policy is designed to cover.

Industrial development policy is directed towards securing the greatest possible increase in the national product, through the increase of industrial production on sound economic lines and consequentially the greatest possible degree of employment in the industrial sector.
