There is no record of receipt of an application for a reconstruction grant from this person. An application for a new house grant was received on 20th November, 1961, and notification of completion of the house was received on 1st January, 1963. It has not been possible to allocate a grant in the absence of evidence of approval under the Town and Regional Planning Acts. I understand that the Donegal County Council has not been asked for approval in this case although the applicant for the grant was repeatedly advised by my Department that such approval was necessary.
