It is not possible, of course, to say, before actual production commences, that any industrial project is certain to reach fruition. Of the projects before my Department and the Industrial Development Authority at present, it seems likely that some 30 industrial projects, with an estimated total employment potential ranging from 1,500 initially to 3,700 at the full development stage, will go into production this year. The corresponding figures, at the present time, for 1964 are 15 projects with an estimated total employment potential of 2,000 to 6,500.
