Vol. 201 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pig-Feeding Trials.

7.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if trials were held, or are at present proceeding, on the feeding of pigs in houses designed, by utilisation of the body heat of the animals, to keep them at a temperature at which food conversion is improved and risk of disease reduced, either by his Department or by the Agricultural Institute.

I understand that such trials are in progress by An Foras Talúntais at their Moorepark Farm, Fermoy.
