asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that the UCD authorities have raised the fees substantially on students for the coming academic year, although students were left under the impression when enrolling that their fees would be a certain amount during their whole course; and that there is now a danger that some of them may be forced to withdraw in the middle of their courses; and what action he proposes to take in the matter.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply which I gave to a previous question concerning increases in university fees on 30th April, 1963. I have nothing to add to that reply except to refer the Deputy also to page 41 in the current year's Calendar of University College, Dublin.
