Vol. 202 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Waterford Cottages.

10.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has received from the Waterford County Council for the sanction of his Department tenders for the building of a number of cottages in the county; and when he expects a decision on the matter.

There are no proposals from Waterford County Council for the acceptance of tenders for the erection of cottages at present before my Department awaiting sanction.

Could the Minister tell us how many applications there are in the county council offices in Dungarvan for cottages?

I would require notice of that question.

The Minister should not need notice because he was asked——

I am not running the offices of the Waterford County Council.

Thank God you are not. We are bad enough as we are.

I would keep you in order if I were.

The Minister cannot keep himself in order.
