Vol. 202 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Electrification.

24.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Transport and Power what are the prospects of extending electricity supply to the mountain area of Skeeheenarinka, County Tipperary, where there are twenty-seven houses.

I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that this area has already been re-canvassed on the basis of the revised terms available as a result of the Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1962, and that construction work will commence at an early date.

A householder interested in obtaining supply should get in touch with the Board's district office at Limerick.
