Mr. Ryan

104.

asked the Minister for Justice the present position with regard to a Garda station for Ballyfermot, Dublin; whether a site has been obtained from Dublin Corporation; and, if not, when he hopes to get possession of a suitable site.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 103 and 104 together.

Three possible sites for the erection of a new Garda station at this centre have been suggested by Dublin Corporation. A plan of the area has been furnished by the Corporation and is at present being examined by the Commissioner, Garda Síochána, with a view to determining the most suitable site.
