asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of each county and county borough council for the current year (1) the local rate in the pound, (2) the estimated produce of one penny in the pound, (3) the rate in the pound for roads, (4) the rate in the pound for health services, (5) the rate in the pound for housing services, and (6) the rate in the pound for sanitary services.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

The information requested in respect of (2) is not yet available for the year 1963/64 so the corresponding figures for the year 1962/63 are given in the Table underneath. The particulars requested at (3), (4), (5) and (6) are not yet available but provisional figures are being compiled and if the Deputy will repeat the Question in respect of these items in about a week's time the provisional figures will be furnished.
