I have asked the Leitrim County Council to furnish certain information in connection with their proposal for a deputation on the conditions attached to Road Fund grants and when I receive this, I shall communicate further with the council.
When did the Minister ask the county council to furnish the particulars?
We first heard from them on 21st May and on 29th May we communicated with the council and we received a reply from them on 7th June. On 17th June, we asked for further details in regard to costings of home-produced stone as against imported stone or processed stone by our own commercial companies. We are awaiting at the moment the detailed information we sought on 17th June.
