asked the Minister for Lands whether he has any plans in mind for the utilisation of the freezing plant at Schull, County Cork.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Schull (Cork) Freezing Plant.
53.
The utilisation of this plant is under examination by An Bord Iascaigh Mhara and I understand that proposals for development are being considered.
Will the Parliamentary Secretary not agree that the development proposals have been under consideration for a number of years? Surely he should now have some definite information as to how it is proposed to utilise this plant?
I hope to have some definite information for the Deputy in the near future.
Would it be a breach of confidence to disclose any of the information today, because the Dáil is to adjourn for three months?
At this stage I would consider that premature, but I shall communicate direct with the Deputy.
