asked the Minister for Justice what is the present position regarding the new Garda station at Kinnegad, County Westmeath.

The Commissioners of Public Works have informed me that negotiations for the purchase of a site which was regarded as suitable for the erection of a new station at this centre have not been successful and other sites on offer are now being considered.

asked the Minister for Justice what is the present position regarding the new Garda station at Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare.

The Commissioners of Public Works have informed me that they have not yet succeeded in securing a suitable site for the new station to be erected at this centre. A site which was offered was found on investigation to be unsuitable.

asked the Minister for Justice what is the present position regarding the new Garda station at Clane, County Kildare.

Difficulties in regard to title have been encountered in connection with the acquisition of the site which has been selected for the erection of a new station at this centre. The Commissioners of Public Works are taking appropriate action with a view to having these difficulties resolved.

asked the Minister for Justice what is the present position regarding the new Garda station at Rathangan, County Kildare.

The Commissioners of Public Works have informed me that they are at present investigating the suitability of a site which has recently been offered for the new station to be erected at this centre.

asked the Minister for Justice what is the present position regarding the new Garda station at Newbridge, County Kildare.

The erection of a new station and four houses for married members at this centre has been approved. The Commissioners of Public Works expect that the building scheme will be included in the Garda programme of works for which tenders will be invited in the coming year.
