Vol. 205 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Whiddy Island (Cork) Landing Facilities.

5.

asked the Minister for Finance what arrangements are being made to improve the landing facilities at Whiddy Island, County Cork.

An engineer of the Office of Public Works has recently made a survey of proposals for the improvement of the landing facilities at "The Bank" and at "Tranaha or Funeral Quay" on Whiddy Island.

When his report is available, it will be considered by the Department of Agriculture and the Special Employment Schemes Office with a view to deciding what works might be done.
