Vol. 205 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Driving Disqualification.

39.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state, in respect of the twelve months' disqualification for holding a driving licence remitted by him on 4th October last, why the disqualification was imposed on 4th July last.

The disqualification was imposed as a result of a conviction on 4th July of an offence against Section 56 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961.

What is Section 56 about?

It is not drunken driving, anyway.
