Clearance of a substantial number of waiting applications in the areas in question is at present in progress and the work of installation will be completed in the next few weeks.
It is hoped to arrange a further clearance of a small number of applications in a few months' time. The majority of the remaining applications must await completion of a new exchange about the end of next year.
