asked the Minister for Justice the cost of the midday meal provided for prisoners on remand being brought from Limerick, Portlaoighise and Mountjoy gaols to the local court for the hearing of their cases; and if an official voucher is issued for the cost of such meal.

The maximum allowance that may be paid from public funds for the supply of a meal is 4/-. An official voucher is not issued for this purpose.
