In the current year under the sand subsidy scheme operated by the County Cork Committee of Agriculture the rate of subsidy payable is 5/- per ton or the actual cost of the sand, whichever is the lower. It is a matter for each selected applicant to arrange for supply of the sand in accordance with the conditions of the scheme, full details of which may be obtained from the Cork County Committee.
